Tea tasting
Our tea tasting begins with a presentation and tasting of different types of Premium tea: white, green, blue and black tea. The product that is consumed during the tasting is completely Colombian. Previously, an explanation of the differences in the process of cultivation and harvest of each type of tea will be given. In addition, he knows in an exhibition the benefits of the leaf. Then, the differences in infusion times and temperatures are presented, which alter the final product.
The tasting includes materials, guide and presentation.
Tasting menu
Our tasting menu is a gastronomic experience of national and regional cuisine. The activity is made up of a six-course menu. In which the different Colombian cooking techniques and the different flavors of the exquisite local offer are tasted.
All the activity is carried out with products from the region, in the Casa Rivera del Cacao style, so that each dish of the tasting denotes strong influences of cocoa, chocolate, coffee and rum.
Tasting of distillates
Our spirits tasting features a presentation of the different types of Colombian spirits. A highly educational activity on national liquors in which you can taste several of the Premium rums and spirits from Colombia.
Wine cellar
At Casa Rivera del Cacao we have a wine cellar to provide you with the best products to accompany your stay. The cellar has optimal storage conditions at a controlled temperature, in order to have the best selection in optimal conditions. All products were selected by our wine consultant Hugo Sabogal, so you can enjoy exquisite harvests from Chile and Argentina to make your dinner, lunch and dinner even more special.
Bird watching and nature tour
During your visit you will realize that the house and the chocolate are only part of the whole experience. You will find yourself in a farm surrounded by mountains of stunning greens, flowers with exotic colors and animals of various categories. Colombia, being one of the countries with the greatest biodiversity, is a perfect destination to explore nature. Therefore, we recommend you to walk the paths of the farm observing, in the company of a Biologist, all the fauna and flora present in our cocoa forest.
